For "Sentimental hogwash." I collected every photograph that I could find of my father, placed it faced down on a light table and then shot the back of each photograph with my 16mm Bolex. This process stitches together a continuous record of his life from birth until the release of his ashes in the Cooper River, SC last summer. It is something, how we use photographs- moving and still- to cling to the possibility of preservation and immortality over the arch of a lifetime.
